This month MARSHA IN THE MIDDLE is hosting Style Imitating Art.
The selection, The Boulevard Montmartre at Night, is an impressionist painting by Camille Pissarro.
Even though the colors were somewhat muted and "watery", I immediately thought of this skirt. The colors are brighter and more energetic but it still felt right. My first shirt choice didn't work out and in the interest of time and ease the grey hoodie won out as the replacement. I wanted to wear a pair of flats with the skirt but it stormed today so boots were the footwear of choice. A chunky blue statement ring and simple dangly earrings finished the outfit off.
